Viñedo En’Kanto

Viñedo En’Kanto

Viñedo En’Kanto is an escape from the crowds, known for its excellent food, estate-grown wines, and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect winery for those seeking a peaceful connection to nature, setting it apart from other vineyards.

What separates them from other wineries?

Viñedo En’Kanto is a rustic boutique winery that has a 100% outdoor setting.  You might be asking “how is that different from other wineries of Valle?” Well when we say outdoor setting we mean that the tasting area or “the deck” as they refer to it, is nestled outside between trees, a citrus orchard, and a few steps from their chicken coupe.  The deck area is curated with lovely gas fire pits, an outdoor kitchen that prepares some of the regions best pizzas, tables with different group size configurations, and hammocks for those looking to relax in the shade.  This makes En’Kanto an ideal choice for any group, whether it’s an intimate outing for a romantic couple or a large gathering like a wedding party.

The Wine

Lets start off by saying that the wine at Viñedo En’Kanto is fantastic!  The vineyard was first planted in 2010 and they are producing Chardonnay, Nebbiolo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Unlike many wineries in Valle de Guadalupe that source most of their grapes, En’Kanto proudly produces nearly all of its wines from estate-grown fruit. The exception is a single varietal, Chenin Blanc, carefully sourced and featured in their delightful blend, Dazzle.  However that is soon to change as they plan to become 100% estate grown in the near future.

Location and Operating hours

Viñedo En’Kanto is situated in the San Antonio de las Minas region of Valle de Guadalupe, making it a convenient getaway for visitors from Ensenada. If you’re coming from Ensenada, watch for the first and only stoplight in the Valle, where you’ll need to make a quick U-turn. Look for a paved road between the Oxxo and Farmacia Similares, and follow it. Keep going until you spot a small blue sign marked “En’Kanto.” Turn right onto the dirt road, which will lead you straight to the winery. As you enter the property, you’ll notice a water reservoir on your right letting you know you have arrived. Also they can easily be found here on google maps.

En’Kanto is open Friday through Sunday with the following service hours:

Breakfast: 8:30am – 11:30am

Pizza and Empanadas: 12pm – 6:30pm

Wine Bar: 11am – 6:30pm
